Recently I was at a customer site and noticed in view maintenance that only 50 views came back at a time! With over a thousand views this could get pretty annoying. And as it turned out, they were a bit annoyed by this. It turns out there is a control in Admin|Application that allows you to control how many records come back in these list style maintenance functions. It’s been there for a long time, it’s called Page Size. In the latest versions (6.5+) the max value has been increased to allow you see more views or what ever you are looking at. This setting also effects the rows and columns dimension selection windows and a number of others in Stratum.
Don’t confuse this with the Page Size: Rows and Columns which control the number of rows and columns that are displayed in the grid when data is returned in an actual View in Viewer. This setting can be changed at the Admin level or by the user in later versions of Stratum. This is also a nice feature that allows the users to see move than an initial 20 rows and columns in a view. I’ve got mine set to 40 rows and columns which works well with my PC and screen size.
