How can I use the total or subtotal in a calculation?

      Stratum provides predefined calcs that can help out if you want to use either the total for a measure or the subtotal amount. To use the total there is a specific calc function you can use in the Stratum Viewer Functions. For the subtotal you can back into the subtotal amount from the Stratum provided % of Subtotal function. I’ve included a couple of screen shots to show how you can use both the #Total function and the #PercentOfSubtotal functions to see the totals or subtotals on each row. Of course if you are using these in a calc you’d hide these measures as they have no real value to a user on each row.

      Here’s the View – a simple example of getting the total and subtotal in the view:
