To see what makes up a calculated column in a view a user can double click on the column header and see the calculation wizard window. This allows the user to see the actual calc but may be too much detail or hard for a regular user to understand.
An alternative is to use a Pop Up for the calculations. In the View Explorer either double click on the measure you want to describe or right click and select properties. You’ll see an option to create a ‘pop up’. To add text put it in “quotes”. You can add other information from the view like dimension descriptions or measure values. If you are using a conditional format you can use the conditional format descriptions to allow the user to understand the conditions driving the conditional format.
